Kendram organizes various activities to promote Sanskrit language and literature. Besides teaching Sanskrit, functions, celebrations, competitions, exams are the other activities to promote Sanskrit among students.

Sanskrit Courses & Exams

Sanskrit is taught in simple steps. Students above 7 years can join the Sanskrit courses. The following courses are being conducted.

SANSKRIT INTRODUCTORY COURSE SANSKRIT CERTIFICATE COURSE DIPLOMA IN SANSKRIT

Each course has been divided into two semesters. The duration of each semester is 6 months. Each semester has a text book published by Kendram. Sanskrit is being taught step by step in these books.

These exams are conducted twice a year on the last Sunday of February and September every year. The exam centres are available in all major towns all over India. The Tamil and English explanation of these books are also available against a nominal payment.

Distance Education

Books are prepared by eminent Sanskrit Scholars who have vast experience in teaching Sanskrit to the School and College students. These books are available with Tamil and English translation for the students to study in distance education.
